S-QR Code
Standardised QR code payment protocol for contactless merchant payments across the network.
Definition
S-QR (Standardised QR) is the FORUS network's universal QR code payment protocol. Merchants display a static or dynamic S-QR code, and consumers scan it with their FORUS wallet to complete a payment — zero fees, instant settlement. S-QR works across all sovereign nodes, meaning a consumer from one country can pay a merchant in another using the same scan-to-pay experience. It complements SoftPOS as a low-barrier payment acceptance method that requires no hardware investment.
Software-based point-of-sale that turns any smartphone into a payment terminal — no hardware needed.
The multi-rail interoperability layer connecting sovereign nodes, compliance frameworks, and cross-border settlement.
